What if we told you that the average American uses almost four times as much? About 284 gigajoules, a huge amount. Cloud included!<br \/>So companies that find themselves evaluating and managing cloud costs will also have to consider the <strong>environmental cost and the potential damage to the planet<\/strong>. In a word: <strong>responsibility<\/strong>. As we never tire of repeating,<strong> the Cloud is a scalable service<\/strong>. This means that we could compare it to a switch. And like a light switch it should also be<strong> turned off when not in use<\/strong>. Experiment with different technical levers and see how they affect cloud costs, which will also lead to smarter choices.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_module et_pb_text et_pb_text_1953  et_pb_text_align_left et_pb_bg_layout_light\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\">\n<p><strong>Cultivate conscientiously<\/strong>. The consumption of Cloud services will increase as the company grows, but the question is: is it growing efficiently? With<strong> accurate forecasting and budgeting capabilities<\/strong>, businesses can take advantage of long-term savings plans and reserved instances with confidence.
